Helga has enjoyed a diverse career in finance and international marketing. Previous employers include Íslandsbanki, Estee Lauder UK, Merill Lynch and the Trade Council of Iceland. Helga has also worked as advisor to the MInister of Trade and Industry and participated in founding 3 startups. Helga joined NSA Ventures in 2009. She is a board member of Klak-Innovit, Infomentor, Gagnavarslan and Frumtak.
Egill has a diverse and international background. He has worked in research, as a programmer for the Niels Bohr Institute in Denmark, as a managing director for Taugagreining, in marketing for CareFusion and in business intelligence for Arion Bank. He joined NSA Ventures in 2010. Mr. Másson is the chairman of the board of Men and Mice, Stiki and Transmit and serves on the boards of gogoyoko, Gogogic and GreenQloud,
Gísli has been a part of the NSA Ventures team since the inception of the fund. Before joining NSA he was a senior manager for the Industrial Loan Fund, an office manager for the Federation of Icelandic Industries and a branch manager at the Industry Bank. Gísli serves on the boards of Stiki, Lífeind, Íshestar, Kine, Valka, Videntifier, Dohop and Auris.
Hekla has been with NSA ventures since 2010. Previously she worked for over ten years at the global medical innovation company Ossur (NASDAQOMX). She was involved in the entire development process, from early design up until launching a product to the markets. She was a product manager for the company in Shanghai where she gained valuable insights into the Asian and Pacific markets, especially Japan, China, South Korea and Australia. She serves on the boards of Cooori, Mint Solutions, Remake Electric, Admit, 3Z Pharmaceuticals and Men & Mice.
Jenny has a B.S. in mechanical- and industrial engieering from the University of Iceland and an M.S. in engineering from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany. She was marketing- and business development manager for BiOM Inc in Boston, USA. Before that she was CEO for Krumma ehf and a product Manager at Ossur. Jenný has been with NSA Ventures since 2014.
Smári has been the CFO of NSA Ventures since the fund's inception in 1998. Before joining NSA Ventures, he enjoyed a long career at The Fisheries Investment Fund from 1978 where he became chief accountant in 1995. He serves on the boards of of Gogo Holding slhf, NordicPhotos, Grapewire, Skelfélagið and Star-Oddi.
Svala joined NSA Ventures in 2002, she is a licensed book-keeper from the University of Reykjavík.
